What should you consider when buying a blast pot?
The abrasive metering valve is a crucial part of the blast pot. A precisely adjustable valve that opens and closes when starting and stopping the blasting process minimises abrasive and disposal costs. This also results in less dust and less clean-up.
In addition, the diameter of the piping on the blast pot should match the type of blasting. This prevents pressure drop in the system, leading to lower abrasive and energy consumption and prevents premature wear and tear.
